Juliana Suescún Gómez
Juliana Suescún Gómez has been a feminist and peacebuilding activist for 15 years. As a researcher and team member in CIASE (Corporation for Research, Social and Economic Action), she co-authored the book “Experiences, Contributions and Recognition: Women in the Peace Process in Havana.”
Trained in Psychology with a focus on social, political and educational areas, she completed a Postgraduate level training on Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation, Human Rights, and Literature. Ms. Gómez worked with NGOs as well as universities and schools and has broad experience in social intervention processes, psychosocial perspective incorporation in peacebuilding and Human Rights Promotion, Peace Education, Peaceful Conflict Transformation, and social research and action focused on the agenda of Women, Peace and Security.
