Katia Uriona Gamarra is a feminist activist and the president of the Electoral Tribunal in Bolivia. She has fought for women’s rights as well as transsexual and transgender rights.
Degree in Social Communication. She was the head of the Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance IDEA – International, served as Executive Secretary of the Coordinadora de la Mujer and served as coordinator of the National Women and Constituent Assembly Project. She was also the Director of Human Development of the Prefecture of Cochabamba.
